The East Labirynth (2) and After

Helo.

Welcome back to my Adventure Blog. This Session runned on Feb 01, but i can't remember the exact time. As I said, there are some Sessions I'll have to write that I hadn't yet, but don't be afraid. I have still it all in my mind, and one Player is help on taking notes too. During the Sessions, I take care to note everything important, but still there are moments in which I can't take notes (while mastering some scene, and roleplay). The Story's going to show some secrets, although they'd better be hidden in the lines.

Hope you like.

I've chosen the rule for who doesn't play anymore. They'll have their Story a conclusion, what will make free other characters to take the main position. That happens when planning a long campaign. Not all players can dedicate their life.

(The East Labirynth (2) and After)

They slept in some kind of trance, because the Dream doesn't exists there.

Waking up, the group investigate the room. It's a round room, with a christal ball in the middle. Six corridors, and six doors. Torian remember that the spirit moved back from the way out off this room, and took the second corridor.
Torian goes to see the corridor, and there's something in the middle, that looks like trash or something like that.

Everyone watching, Torian go to the safe place, two thirds.

There's a story on the wall.

Torian repeats to everyone what the story says, and everyone enter the room, for eveyone to go the same way and no one get lost again.
The story shows an entire heritage, in hunger.

When one of this people is sleeping, he dreams with the mountains (the same mountains the group is in). Inside the mountain, he sees a Black Ball and talk to it. So, they made a tunnel, and found the Black Ball. From the Black Ball they took a black drop, and went outside to put it on the ground.

So, vegetation has grown everywhere.

The Story ends with these heritage people putting their hands down the trees and the fruits falling to their hands.

Torian remembere the word in the ancient language, "Open", and said it.

The drawing became black, and Torian's ring said something was going to come from there. Yes, a Drop of some Black substance. Torian gave the Black Drop to the sand on the floor, which assumed a form of a hand to collect the Drop.
Then, from the wall came a Seed, and Torian took it.

One of the statues moved.

Soon, the sand became a series of spirits, and they said a thankful sentence softly.

- Thanks for freeing our people from hunger.

Suddenly, the two doors opened, and the statue pointed the way out.

- Now, go. (said the spirit).

The next room of this Labyrinth looks like a glass sphere, also with three corridors and three doors. So, Tack goes to the first corridor. Everyone goes, and there's a dead body with an Urn, a statue. Torian used rock language to speak to the statue, and it looked them and uttered an order.

- Take the rubbish with you, and goes back.

Tack and Torian sensed danger, coming from the next room.

- You may help if you want, but this is a problem to the statues of vigilance. (said the statue).

Báech was able to collect the dead man's spirit. Lena took the body. Flausin took the Urn. They went back to the room they just got off.
They followed a new pattern, 3112, to get Out of the Labyrinth, and came to a squared room with two doors and an interspace with pillars.

- Nine pillars... (said Torian).
- It's that door. (said Hadesh, firmly).

Minutes later, Tack and Torian agreed with Hadesh, and they went for the left door. The room was an entire opened space, with three stairs down.
Torian said the way was the first stair, and so they got to the Labyrinth first corridor, the same they got inside.

Asking for some help from his Ring, it said the Labyrinth is based in oposition.

Remembering the ancient language word for "Open", Torian turned to the back wall in the oposite direction from the way out, and said it.

- "Open".

The spirit who operates the maps appears, and make a reverence with his hand in the chest.

-Yes! (cried Torian).

So, Hadesh and his new friend Bogbog entered the Magic Bag, because they were said nothing divine could come out of the Laryrinth, and it was planned since the beginning.

They got out of the Labyrinth.

(The Way Back)

The group listen to drums when they get outside, and with magic language activated, Torian translate that the drums are saying the Mountain is active.
Torian's Ring says they need to take a look at the Tower, up the mountains.

The group discussed what to do, and then Torian planted the Seed on the dead Mountain, creating water to make it grow.

Going back to the Teleport place, they see an army coming. Fire is seen at the Temples, there where the monkeys live, and it was clear that a combat were to come.

At the last moment, they could make the Teleport in time.

(At the Temple of Ivory)

The Sacerdot of Dream receptioned the group, and took them to the Lake, inside the Temple. They opened the Bag, and Hadesh went out with Bogbog on his back.

Soon, the Dreammaker came out of the Lake.

- Greetings, Bog. How long. So, you were at that Labyrinth, then? (said the Dreammaker).
- Bog. (said him).
- I'll open the Urn now. (said Senhor dos Sonhos).

Everyone assumed combat positions.

And, it was the right Urn, explained the Dreammaker.

The Raja's heir is safe.

Lena, Flausin and Hadesh then were studying the dead body, and looting it. Flausin and Lena took the stange map, and the dagger.

- Let's eat, - said the Dreammaker - Now, you'll have one more night of dreams at my Temple, and your family's invited again, Professor.

(End of Mission)

They had dreams with the Labyrinth, and someone who was laughing at them.

Waking up, Tack and his family saw Flausin, Báech and Lena considering to build a Tavern, out of the Map. They discovered this is a Map to the taverns the Guild of Thieves uses as their bases, to get information in roads used by pilgrims.

Torian came.

He discussed that the missions are too expensive, 2.000 gold for each teleport is too much.

- I'm not used to your missions, (said Adria), and specially to confront Basilisks and beasts. Before we can continue, I wished to say something to you. I'm from other plane, and my race, the Ichi, live at the Astral planes. There, my Clan disagreed with the others. So, we went to live at the White, the Source plane, and that's the reason our skin is like this. White. We are at war against the other members of our race, who are in fact world invaders, who could prossibly invade the Trigemei Worlds. We know the plane will suffer changes, that will probably make our life there impossible. I'm on the world to save my race. To find a new place to our people to live. If you can help me with this, I will help you in every mission you have.

Everyone agreed.

Torian decides to go back to the Troll Philosopher to investigate the attack of the Basilisk, and the Dreammaker agrees that Priatel ruledom needs help, so he will speak to everyone who may be able to help to mantain contact, with him and the mage.

They resumed things, talking.

It was clear that the Nine Realms use a strange Magic, that includes hipnosis. The last Mummi King was defeated using strange Magic. Probably the same kind used in Nine Realms. A Magic that mix Darkness and Order.

The Monotheists will be the weaker part of this War. They'll possibly try to get stronger, as soon as possible.

They probably didn't stole the Dreams.

Trisebus, that appeared on that Swamp, is not the one, too.

Chaos was interested in the group, so she's probably not the right one, too. And the Order is more interested,

possibly, in the Nine Realms, because they follow her rules. So, the fake Silver Dragon's not the one, neither. The Realms of Ayaname, since Ayasta-Rei's helping the group, is not the one who stole the Dreams, also, but they can't give the word for everyone.

That dead race who created the Labyrinth is still influencing the World, but they were locked at that same Labyrinth, and Bog said they'll possibly get out, but they were not the one who's stealing Dreams.

That Temples, besides the mountains, shows in it's position an astronomic event that will happen in two years.

The event in the Raja's heir life will happen before these two years, or the Urn were not to be hidden in the Labyrinth.

So, the Mummi King and the dark elves are the essencial suspects, here. They discuss this all with the Dreammaker, and he admire their efforts in help with the solution.

Torian asks to his Ring what he can do, and it explains he's the Ring of Life, and also that not even he in itself can predict what can happen with Torian having planted that Seed on the Mountains. It prolongs the life of it's user, and can make the user live indefinitely.

Everyone discuss it, and now the priority is finding the Ambar Rings of Power, while they can't do anything more about the Stole Dreams.

Ayasta's Ring explains.

There are five Rings of Ambar. First and Second, Major Rings, the Rings of Time and Magic. The others, Minor Rings, of Life, Intelligence and Death.

Tack questions if they were used sometime together. Yes, at the Great War, by the Saint Group, that were Balder's group.

The Dreammaker calls the Sacerdot, and explains they will receive a gift from him. A gift that took six months to make. A pendant made of Vala, the planar silver, which will keep them in contact with him from now on. Well, but Torian's family protections will take sometime to create, and they'll be created as soon as possible.

The talk ends, and Tack's family goes back home, while everyone else goes to Torian's Castle.

(At Priatelka Ruledom)

Torian gives 500 gold to Lena, Flausin and Becci to start the construction of the Tavern, at this point to chose the place where it will be.

Now, Torian and Tack decided to go to the Troll Philosopher.

Torian used Lighning ward on Tack, and teleported lightning to the entrance of the Troll Valley.

Soon, the fire started, and they get there.

- Helo. (said the Troll).
- Helo, Troll. We need to investigate the Basilisk attack, here. (said Torian).
- Be welcome.

So, Tack went to the place it was possibly invoked.

Asking about the Basilisk, the Troll explains that the Guardian Soul spell would provide a first impact attack, because it would create an artificial soul that would take the first spell a Basilisk casts, the spell called "Die" in snake language.
The Basilisk brain is the most hard part of the body, more than his head, explains his Ring.

Every Basilisk, explain the Troll, has something of value he protects, and it can be anything, a territory, darkness, someone, a book, an item, and if you deatroy this thing the Basilisk may lose much of it's magic, maybe 50%.

So, Torian goes to the cavern where the elemental Fire lives, together with salamanders, on the other side of the valley, to ask if the elemental saw anything. He says he listened to three words, that sounded like the magic spells of Dispel, Teleport and Compel.
Torian was invited to see the Salamanders, and after that he went to see Tack.

He asks to his Ring if there's some medicinal use for something the Salamanders have, and the Ring explains that when someone becomes too old, it happens sometimes that this person starts to forget things, and the presence of a Salamander at the fire would cure that.

- So, you're interested in medicine? (asked the Ring).
- Not exactly, because it was Hadesh's interest in the Slamanders which made me ask. Thank you. (Torian answered).
- You're an excelent alchemist, and my knowledge in medicine may help you.
- Not necessary, thank you - said Torian.

Investigating, Tack discovered that the area were not being affected by the magical thin Rain that protects the Priatel ruledom, because the area is magical.

There are old symbols on the rocks, and it's probably a Prison.

Actually, it's more like a Tomb. There is the same symbol they saw at the East Labyrinth, when they took the wrong way and had to go back, there where they saw the opened Egg, so Torian look at the sinister Tomb said the word "Open".

Suddenly, the Essence of Death appeared. She negates the effect, and explain that they can't speak that language, because it's forbidden.
That area is forbidden, also, she explains.

Who invoked the Basilisk here used the area energy. There's a divine magic in this place, for it not to be discovered. The symbols were used a long time ago, by a group of Gods, who used the symbols to mark places that were important to these Gods. This group of Gods are not active, anymore, after the death of Pan. Only that Gods know what these symbols were used to, and what's inside the Tomb.

So, they went back to Torian's Castle.

The butler appears and say someone is on the front Entrance, waiting for him. It's a Djine, dressed with djine clothes and a turban.

- I came in the name of the Raja, to give a small greeting from the Family. The Raja is happy, because you did what no djine could. You could locate the Heir's Will, so here is a small endearment from the Raja.

He took 9 big bags out of nothing, and continued.

- It's 100 thausand gold pieces, in different types of coins. Please, accept this as the Raja's thank you.
- We have a friend who's a djine, and he said to us the djines can't do many things, because they're taboos.
- Ah. That's wonderful, - said the djine - At least, one djine is respecting the taboos. I'll say that to the Raja, and he'll be much happy. Now, I have to go. Thank you, again.

He went to the entrance door, and soon vanished.

Torian sent a message to the goblin, to say they have the money to the Tavern. So, Torian went to his cousin Rudyn's Mansion. There he asked how he could confront the Basilisk attacks, and Rude said the barrier was made with Sand and Sound elements, and Secret essence energy.

Torian came home with lightning teleport, because he sensed his books being copied.

It was Hadesh. Torian censured him, and explained he can't copy. They start to talk about the items, the items the butler artificer's studying, and they're enough to arm the group, as soon as they'd be catalogued. Bogbog explains Torian's family's language is descendent of his people's language, from five thousand years ago, so he is somewhat feeling home.

(The Master Elementalist)

Torian goes with Hadesh to where there's an Ancient Elemental of Sound. Hadesh will be the Witness. Being there, he challenge the elemental. The elemental is enourmous, and starts the ritualistic combat with Torian, who wants to become a Master Elementalist.

It's an intense, but short fight.

Soon, rocks were broken everywhere, and Torian was sensing sounds as he was never able to listen.

The elemental conjured the image of a Basilisk, and the first magic, Torian knew, would be the Die spell, because the elemental Sound possibly know this spell.

Torian invented a Sound spell, to confront the snake language spell.

It worked.

Then, he understant the elemental is using his own mind against himself, and change the tatics. He locked the elemental at a trap.

It worked.

Then, the elemental surrended, and Torian became Sound Master Elementalist.

He fainted.

Hadesh said thanks to the elemental, and took Torian with him, carrying him back through Priatel's roads. Soon, a few wanderers were following Hadesh.

- Who's him?
- It's a Priatel, isn't it?
- We'll walk with you, to grant you safeguard to his Castle.

So, Hadesh walked.

Hour later, he stoped at Torian's guard, and the guards took Torian Priatel to his Castle. Hadesh decided to meditate. Every wanderer imitated him, for some hours. He was happy. When Hadesh got out of his trance, they were gone.

When Torian opened his eyes, he was on his bed, and he got up calling a butler.

- Bring Hadesh to me.

Hadesh and Adria went together to talk with Torian.

- Thank you, Hadesh.
- I want to train you soldiers, - said Adria - If you accept, bring five soldiers with no powers to me, and they will be trained.
- Right. (answered Torian).

Then, Torian took Hadesh to the Vault.

There, he shows his best book, a Tome, to Hadesh. The book opens, and teach Hadesh a type of magical armour, in snake language. The book starts to smoke. That ended, Torian close the book, and put back in the Vault. Then, Torian explains to Hadesh that he's a Wizard, not a Mage, so he'll need a Witch to teach him.

Torian calls Haratchi Koyuu, the Witch of the Planes.

The legend says there's a Witch, from the old empire islands of Shizuka, which can give you anything you can think or imagine. There's a price for that, so. You'll never know what you have lost. The legend also says it is a thing as valuable as what you want.

She's an old friend of Torian, and the one who gave the Tome to him.

Torian went away, using lightning teleport, to go Rudyn's Mansion, to ask him how he could find an Ancient Elemental of Sands.

Rude answers that at the place he's next going there's probably one.

Hadesh starred the Witch of the Planes.

(End of Session).

Some considerations necessary.

Will Torian be able to Master these elements? If they're right, so the new Mummi King is stealing the Dreams. Is it right? What are his goals in doing this? What happens to Hadesh, now he's in front of an Old and powerful Witch, the Witch of the Planes?
