The Bronze Labyrinth

Helo, everyone.

Happy year of 2011, you all!

This time I haven't take track of the time. Session's somewhat between a combat scene, back in the last post, and somewhere into astral plane travelling. I thank my friends Giuppa and Renatinha, for their welcome into their house, and here we go.

(Previously)

Torian freezed the nest, with all his power.

They all looked each other, and it was Torian the elementalist who went running now to Rude, to look for Spike that fell into that hole.

- Spiike! (he screamed).
- Are you aliive? (shouted Rude).

They gathered beside that hole, still sweting, and Hadesh put Tack to the ground to get back to takkar form, so they listened to Spike's voice.

- I've found it!

(End of Session)

- Báech, can you take us down there?
- Of course, Torian. Your wish is a command, and we're already here. Wait! I coudn't take Ayasta and Flausin, don't know why.
- They're "others", now, Báech. I wouldn't try again if I were you. (said Tack).

They see Spike, finishing to fix his right leg.

And so, Tack went to the border to see what Rude was looking. They're up a rock, into an imense cave, where a labyrinth come and goes, until horizon. Everyone got prepared to enter a place with danger, while waiting for Ayasta and Flausin, who were coming the long way flying, or better, sweetly levitating and talking.

It looks like the godess and the mad doesn't bother with "normal" danger.

Hadesh try to fly, and the labyrinth takes him back to the ground, so they'd be binded to walk. There's a smell of fungus everywhere, but no fungus anywhere.

There's an imense dark "ball" on the horizon, they can see.

So, they entered the labyrinth.

Knowing no where to go, the only way was walking any direction. After sometime, they noticed they're being followed by a bronze faery.
As soon as she noticed they know she's there, she desapeared without a trace, going back the way.

Then, they concluded, it's obvious she's a natural inhabitant on this place.

- It's a Totem. (said Hadesh).
- Are you sure? (questioned the professor).
- Don't attack a Totem, you all. She can use the place to attack us back, and we don't know she's with company. (resumed the takkar).

An hour later, they saw dead branches and roots of what was a tree.

Maybe they're on the right way. Tack tried to detect magic, and he tells their friend he sensed an imense "Head" down the ground, a large measure down there, moving and sensing the group. Torian said he doesn't sense danger from there.

- You know what? (decided Torian).

He started to destroy the walls with elementalism. He passed about five walls, and the others started to follow his steps, passing and going that way too.
Suddenly, he stoped and shouted "Come here! Quick!", and everyone hurried up.

It's a fountain, but the tree's dead.

Investigating the place, while the walls destroied reconstructed back, Tack took a piece of Telluron from his backpack, and put into the fountain.

It worked, and the fountain started to show an ethereal liquid just similar to water, which went down from the upside.
Hadesh was investigating the tree, and noticed that a small leaf appeared.

The takkar said to Tack put all universal components in there, and in a minute appeared a group of bulbs, that they see hold a small bronze faery inside.

Torian put his hand at the ground, and started to sense the land. The others waited, until he investigated enough the labyrinth. So, he explains there are 26 fountains in total, and an imense area that he can't see exactly what that may be the center of this labyrinth.

Then, a beetle appeared and didn't attacked the group. He went to a bulb and ate a faery. And so, he went away, walking the labyrinth naturally.

- Hhhahssssiahhsehiiissss.......

Hadesh stoped litening, and made a movement to the others.

- It's a basilisk. Prepare for the combat (said him).

They get prepared, but it was not a basilisk. It was a small light, and Hadesh went to it to see it closely.

It spoke and said it was a basilisk, but he knows it's not.

Torian used void on the light and it negated, or other way it used some power, because it immediately went upwards so quick it destroied the cave roof.

- Hadesh! (shouted Lena).

He jumped, and rocks almost killed him, falling to the ground. The noise was imense. Everything into this place knows now they're here, and so they listen to a howl.

- Liykantroppi. (concluded Rude).

They went to the next fountain, and decided to activate them all.

While Tack was doing it, Torian and Hadesh found a mummi's hand, and a dagger. It looked as a dagger that could cut everything, said the mage, and the takkar got happy listening to it. So he put the dagger on a side, and the hand on the Bag.
There was also a chalk, special for magic, half used.

On the third fountain, they listen to a noise and a brown ball appeared.

- A demon (said Ayasta). Step back, you all. Stop, demon. I order you.
- Who's destroing our labyrinth? (they listen it asking). You'll pay for that,... with life.
- You're not strong enough for us (said the godess), so the weaker of our group will fight you, not to death, and if the weakest of us defeats you, you'll give us everything we want.
- Who's the first? Step forward (hissed the demon, a brown ball with no arms).
- Hadesh, it's you. (said Ayasta).
- I am the weakest of us?! Are you serious? (he shouted in disagreement).
- Yes, you're the weakest, and win. I en't interfere.

So, the takkar assumed his beast form, and steped in front of the group, 'cause the demon started to attack, and jumped to grab the "thing".

It started to move fast, faster and faster, going away through the labyrinth.

He uses all his will to negate and come back, so they started a fight for will, and it deliberatedly went back. The demon started to heat the beast, burning, while he started to freeze it back.

The demon destroied a couple of walls while coming back, now with a clear aura of criokinese around it, 'cause the beast Hadesh was freezing it. So, they hitted a wall and they fell to the ground, the beast Hadesh in control of the demon's movements, it almost completely freezed, almost dead this way.

- Yeah! (shouted the djine).

The demon was useless, and Hadesh steped back off it.

Ayasta explained they're more that the demon can deal with, and convinced it to help. But well, he explained this is their home, and the group's destroing it. More will come, he said. There's a pack of liykantroppi, too. And the bronze faeries are their food. There are also a group of beetles. And a major demon at the center of the labyrinth, which not even the demons get too close to it, 'cause he became an abyssal a hundred years ago.

- That's it. It's inside the demon. (concluded Torian).
- I see, (said the rogue princess), that's why it can't move off the labyrinth. It ate the "thing", and now he's traped into that place forever, that's what you're saying, Torian?
- Yes.
- Right oah, it's possible.

Now, could they defeat the giant demon?

- I saw light eyes at the labyrinth, but no one noticed.
- What you think they were, Tack?
- Dunno, Christalla, but I guess it was a liykantroppi. That's my guess.
- Who's this mage of bronze the demon said?

That demon said the liykantroppi are wainting, for someone called "the mage of bronze", and that's no good. The djine looked up to Tack, but the princess to Torian. Who's this one? And why they're waiting for him? Are somehow they being expected in there this long?

Decided, they advanced through the labyrinth with walls of bronze.

They activated the last fountain. So, as Hadesh said the mage of bronze was in there, our fellows start listening to a series of howls and growls.

- They're coming to attack (resumed the takkar beast). I'll protect you, Tack! (and moved closer to him).

It started all of a sudden. A large number of monsters, with forms made of their nightmares, came from the void to attack every life there in.
Hadesh assumed his beast form, and engaged close combat with an attacker.

Torian immediately conjured his shuriken with lightning.

So, they see they're outnumbered, what's no good, and the takkar beast try to protect Tack, once and a second time, then he's thrown to an open area, and attacked from up. Torian lock the attacker, and the beast almost kill the attacker, who's strong as much as the takkar beast.

A monster appeared at Tack's back to attack, so he try to escape.

The attacker's hit was on the mage's hand, and the Ring he uses fall to the ground. It growled, and Hadesh shouted "He said "It's on the ground". Take it back!".

And so, while the princess was paralyzed, the djine did the same and paralyzed them all. It worked, except for one, who's at Tack's back. He mummured somthing and carved a kind of bonesword on the ground, so Tack fell to his knees with a terrible feeling, immediately sensing death.
It didn't killed the mage, but he sensed an immediate feeling of curse, and he knows it's powerful.

The rogue princess get off the paralyze and jump.

It worked, and she get the ring and run, just in time to avoid the monster attack.

She pushed Tack off the area of threat and the fog appeared. A fog came out of nowhere, and the monsters, now they know the group's too strong, retreated.

Ayasta had created a dome of force at the area, but it was negated.

They howled and jumped, running away. Did they noticed there's a godess with 'em? So, silence came.

And then, Ayasta spoke.

- Tack, you're cursed.
- I know (said him). I can't take if off. I'm trying...
- This was what they wanted. It looks like they're looking for the mage of bronze not to follow him. They thought you were the mage of bronze.
- He's not (said firmly, the rogue princess). - And she looked around.
- They won't attack again, don't worry.
- Well, Ayasta. I'm just trying to see where they're gone to.
- Tack?
- I'm cursed, Ayasta. All I can see is that this curse will take effect in one year.
- Put the ring back, Tack. Give it to him, Christal.
- Right, Torian.

And the princess gave the ring to the mage, now cursed.

They decided to walk, no talk.

Tack made a wish, from all his heart, and the djine listened. He desired to know what hte creatures on the labyrinth are talking. He knows now it's Pan's language.

Now, Torian had an idea. He put his hands on the ground and start to cast all his power. He's creating alchohol, to fulfill the entire labyrinth. A couple of minutes later, it was full of his element. He concentrated and put fire on it. Quickly, every corner of that place was on fire.

They decided to wait.

An hour later, they decided everything on there was dead, or seriously damaged, and got out of that last fountain to go the center and fight the creature.

Soon, they came to the center of the labyrinth, and saw the giant abyssal who's there, 'em planning how they'd attack it with all their might. An attack plan made, they got prepared. All magic they could have thought of was used to buff themselves, preparing every detail.

And they attacked.

It looked their ultimate attacks didn't harm the abyssal, not even made a scratch on it.

But well, it closed in itself, and created an area of deadmagic around himself. So, all their magic's useless, and they retreat to think of a better plan.

They retreated to the last fountain, again.

A faery of bronze, shy, came to that corner to talk to them. She explained the legend. That the mage of bronze would came, and save her people. That's a myth, but now they know it's true. The monster liykantroppi are there to wait and prevent the mage of bronze to do that, because the Bronze Labyrinth is too dangerous to be revived, say them, but all the faeries want is to live.

She says there's something down there. A jail. A prison. A vault. And the mage of bronze's the One, who would put the seal on it again.

- I'm the mage of bronze.

Everyone looked to Torian Priatel'sa Draci, and remembered he's also "Naraleiva", the bronze dragon's protected one, who's his patron.

The bronze faery says what's down there.

That's an Antigod. And the seal must be remade, or it will use the faery plant's roots to get out. There's a symbol, and somewhat a place to put something in there, to close it again for a millennia more.

- Hadesh, give me the dumpper (said Torian, firmly). I'll close it. I know what I have to do.
- You don't know if you're the mage of bronze, Torian.
- I know, Tack. My family's patron's the bronze dragon, and that's all. Now, we need to make it quickly, 'cause the faery said this will set free in maybe one hour. Let's go.
- We can lock the abyssal to the prison, too, and resume two problems. What do you think?
- That's a very good idea, princess.
- Thanks, Ayasta.

So, they came to a secret place in there, guided by the bronze faery.

It was somewhat on the left corner, in a passage they'd never find, but that doesn't matter, anymore. They open the gate, with the faery's help, and Torian went down the stairs. There, he find the place, and put the dumpper, while Ayasta was calling the attention from the abyssal up there, who immediately run out of control, and attacked, getting out of that prison and taking loads of damage.

Now, they waited for the abyssal, and Torian energyzed the dumpper with all energy he could without fainting, as a start, so it would use the abyssal energy for the rest of the millennia to come.

It got locked into the trap, and they teleported with the faery's help.

The faery, looking for an abyssal locked in a paradigma there, in a timeless prison (they don't know how it happened, but the princess looked to Ayasta, thankful), and graces the group for saving her race, for the mage of bronze to have really came to save the bronze faeries, and the group prepared to go away.

- It's with you, right?
- Yeah, Torian. I've got the Portal with a wish.

They came to the surface, again, and the djine had the Portal, for their relief.

A small christaline sphere, with something like Fog inside.

(End of Session)

Some considerations necessary

The profecies says who gather the major number of portals, wins. How can they be sure who's getting the other portals, now they're got one?
So, at least one on our group's profetyzed, so long ago?

Hope you're enjoying your stay at the Blog. New posts will come, as I write 'em. I promise I'll try to post 'em more frequently now. Hold your heartbeat, and get prepared for more as soon as possible.

And thanks for reading.
