Diary of a Character

The First Chapter is almost at the End.

Hold your breath.

I want to thank my friend Nahas, who plays Daytel|Torian, for his Diary notes, from which I review continuity, as I can't take notes of everything during Narrative.

Soon, the next chapter will show you that the Universe is made from everyone's choices.

Who's doing all this at the Triplet Worlds?

Hadesh (Solo 1)

Helo.

This is a Hadesh solo Session.

The takkar supernatural thought it was time to start to investigate things by himself. Torian's family territory is made of eight fiefs, being his and Rudyn's the top northeast. They're also the limit from Royal Tachiza with the barbarian lands. There is another ruledom to east, which also make frontier with Nine Realms, and there a stronghold was built two centuries ago, by the Duke Katha, human chosen grandson of Ayanima, who ruled the northeast for 78 years, and now he's a Spirit of the Ancients who serves the interests of the Empire.

After the icy mountain, there's a region of giant mushrooms which are really aggressive, but no other place could be so particular.

Hadesh starred the Witch of the Planes.

- So, what you want? (she asks).
- Understand, that I don't know what I need, - answered him.
- I see your wish.

Hadesh started to think. He doesn't know what to do, but this oriental woman was powerful, he really senses her power.

- I want to balance my abilities.
- I can't give you something you will already have.
- So,...
- Sookei, I have a presentation to the Emperor, in a few moments, so we talk later, - said the witch.

She starred at him.

- What's your name?
- Tass, - lied Hadesh, and hoping it works.
- Wise of you. Names are a very difficult issue, don't you think?

Hadesh was tense.

- Sookei, I'm usually called Haratchi Koyuu, but you will call me Midoroshi, and all you need is to say this name, and I'll know you need me. The presentation will start, so I'll have to go. Bye.

It made some sense, as the Witch were using a strange kind of make up. Instants were passing, and the takkar sensed she using special abilities. He could not say what they were. It was a power he, as a draconic beast, could only imagine.

She vanished.

So, suddenly, there were a large Bang! Hadesh assumed combat instance, immediately.

There was a feather at the chair.

He saw the lightning teleport coming, and Torian appeared.

- What happened?
- I don't know. This think appeared here. It looks like a feather, or something.

Torian looked at the feather.

- It's an angel feather. I don't want to know. It's between you and the Witch of the Planes.

Saying this, Torian went away the same way he came.

Hadesh moved and was ready to take the Angel Feather, when Adria entered the Laboratory.

He touched the Feather.

It all happened in a time outside time.

Everything Hadesh felt was pain. His bones were being modified. His body, too. His mind, too. He transformed into Monster form. He started to shout, as high as he could, because all he was saying was Snake Language.

Sometimes, he felt, it sounds like a Dragon crying. He feels pain, in every parts of him.

Time doesn't make sense.

There's only pain, and pain is changing him, it many ways.

So, it's duration is not known, but at sometime, it all came back, and he looked to Adria. She was shocked, shrunken at a corner. Armed with her bow, but she doesn't attacks Hadesh.

Everything around took a supernatural appearance, aura and energy.

- Look... look at yourself. (said Adria).

He understood.

Looking to himself, he saw that now he has four paws (patas), a long tail and neck. And horns, long horns. He's different.

He wished to see his Godess.

So, he vanished.

(The Girl, and The Blind)

Bog was mounting Hadesh, when Hadesh noted they're somewhere else. It's a large hangar. People are fleeing from Hadesh, to the corners.

There's a blind woman with hands up, and a little girl holding her arms in fear.

The blind woman stops, and says:

- I'm busy, now. Can you resolve this for me, please.

Hadesh noted she said this to the little girl, and he also sensed everyone's fear. Everyone's heart beating. The little girl came to Hadesh, slowly. She stoped in front of him.

- So, what you want? - she asked to Bogbog.
- Talk to him - said Bogbog, and the little girl understood, impressed.

Hadesh handed the Angel Feather to the girl, but he did it totally by instinct, as all he could see was instinctive at this moment, in this new form.

- I see. Come here.

Hadesh lowed his head, and the little girl came. She touched his head, and he sensed his brain changing, and all his movements and move senses becoming better.

- Thank you - said him in draka.

So, the little girl moved away quickly. He was drooling, and the substance was melting the ground. It's acid. This acid made the little girl move back, but Hadesh sensed he was in front of a very powerful being, in the form of a younger. She looked to him, fearless.

The yong girl calmly said:

- I'll see you soon, as soon as I can. I promisse.

So, Hadesh was teleported back.

(Hadesh and Adria)

He was back to Torian's apothekary, and Adria was there, waiting for him.

She looked, amazed.

- Can you go back to your takkar form? It's extremely unconfortable to look at you in this form. He started to assume takkar form, but it hurted. A lot. Adria listened to his bones breaking when coming back to takkar form, a sound that only could come from a monster.

- Aghh.... it hurted. (said Hadesh).
- You're older now. (said Adria, looking at his face).
- Bog.
- Where went you to?
- I don't know. There was a girl, there. Just like the other little girls, like Chaos and Order. And a blind woman, curing people.
- Bog.
- What, Bog? (asked Hadesh) You want to say something?
- You are an incredible beast, now. Bog.
- Thank you.
- Hadesh, I think you need to know. (she paused). You're different, now. Everything around you is supernatural, and...
- And?
- You need to see for yourself.

Then, they decided to go outside the Castle, to some place where Hadesh could analyse himself.

Twenty minutes later, they found a small fountain.

Adria steped back, and Hadesh assumed monster licanthrope form again. It hurted. A lot. He assumed a four-leg draconic beastform, and looked into the water mirror. He has a head of a Basilisk, and horns of a White Dragon. He's white, now.

So, he tried to fly, and saw that in this form he's much more able on physical traits than before, but he landed.

They listened to voices on the road. Wanderers. Pilgrims. Hadesh came back to his takkar form, and they decided to go back. Then, Hadesh looked to the ground.

It was partially melted.

- Acid (said him). What if I can breath acid now?
- Hadesh...
- Come on. I need to know.
- Right of yours.

He assumed beast form again, and once concentrated, spits a large amount of acid in the rocks. They melted.

He came back to takkar form.

- Look.

So, Hadesh saw that the natural fountain was imersed into a supernatural aura. The fungiform life was dead, basically. He quickly took all the dead fungus, and with care put into the bag.

They went back to Torian's Castle.

(At Torian's Castle)

They came and Torian wasn't there. Flausin, Lena and Báech were out to see the area where the Tavern were to be constructed. Tack was back home.

Hadesh was tired, and said to Adria that he wanted to sleep.

Adria said she would be on guard.

So, Hadesh went to sleep, and had a strange dream. Somewhat Prophetic.

When he woke up, he didn't remembered what he dreamed of, so he ignored this and continued normal life. As normal as a beast life can be. He wanted to open his book; that book. And said that to Adria.

She agreed.

So, they went on a trip to beyond the mountains. The trip was two days long, and they get to the valley beyond the iced mountains. Adria manned camping.

Hadesh opened the Dark Grimoire.

- Open.

It opened, and said nothing.

- What's your goal?
- I exist to serve my Arcanist.
- Who's your Arcanist?
- Since you killed the last one, now you are my Arcanist.
- You can do Magic?
- You know. I can perform Magic under some special conditions.
- What conditions?
- You wouldn't understand, right now. You'll have to learn much more to understand.
- And you're here to teach me?
- Yes.
- Show me some Magic.

The Dark Grimoire opened at some page, and Hadesh didn't understood any of what were written there.

- Why I can't read?
- Because you're a Wizard, not a Mage.
- Can you make me understand?
- Yes.

Suddenly, all the page changed, and Hadesh casted automatically a death spell, Dying Frost.

He tried to diminish the effects, because of Adria.

- right.

He was worried now.

- Right. (he said again). Why it happened?
- Probably because you are a lycan, too, of a type I didn't yet understood.
- Can you teach me Magic?
- I'll have to recalculate all to show you the right Spells?
- Right, oah, do it. I'll close you now, and talk to you later.
- I'll be here, waiting.
- Close.

The Dark Grimoire closed, locked, and was back to the form of a normal book about public politics. He rested, for some time. Soon, other questions arised, and he opened the Book again. More answers came of the cursed Grimoire.

He did it again, and soon he was understanding the basics about Magic in the form of this Black Magic Grimoire.

The book explained that it was made of Basilisk skin, blood and flesh. And much more.

Adria got off her trance, and starred Hadesh.

Hadesh starred Adria.

- We should go back, now, can we? (said Adria).
- Right. Let's go back.

(End of Session)

Some considerations necessary

What happened to Hadesh? Was it something the Witch of the Planes did? Or wasn't it? How happens he's ten years older now, in appearance? The Dark Grimoire renders servitude to Hadesh now, or is it bluffing? Will him find a way to use a black magic Grimoire to do good?

The East Labirynth (2) and After

Helo.

Welcome back to my Adventure Blog. This Session runned on Feb 01, but i can't remember the exact time. As I said, there are some Sessions I'll have to write that I hadn't yet, but don't be afraid. I have still it all in my mind, and one Player is help on taking notes too. During the Sessions, I take care to note everything important, but still there are moments in which I can't take notes (while mastering some scene, and roleplay). The Story's going to show some secrets, although they'd better be hidden in the lines.

Hope you like.

I've chosen the rule for who doesn't play anymore. They'll have their Story a conclusion, what will make free other characters to take the main position. That happens when planning a long campaign. Not all players can dedicate their life.

(The East Labirynth (2) and After)

They slept in some kind of trance, because the Dream doesn't exists there.

Waking up, the group investigate the room. It's a round room, with a christal ball in the middle. Six corridors, and six doors. Torian remember that the spirit moved back from the way out off this room, and took the second corridor.
Torian goes to see the corridor, and there's something in the middle, that looks like trash or something like that.

Everyone watching, Torian go to the safe place, two thirds.

There's a story on the wall.

Torian repeats to everyone what the story says, and everyone enter the room, for eveyone to go the same way and no one get lost again.
The story shows an entire heritage, in hunger.

When one of this people is sleeping, he dreams with the mountains (the same mountains the group is in). Inside the mountain, he sees a Black Ball and talk to it. So, they made a tunnel, and found the Black Ball. From the Black Ball they took a black drop, and went outside to put it on the ground.

So, vegetation has grown everywhere.

The Story ends with these heritage people putting their hands down the trees and the fruits falling to their hands.

Torian remembere the word in the ancient language, "Open", and said it.

The drawing became black, and Torian's ring said something was going to come from there. Yes, a Drop of some Black substance. Torian gave the Black Drop to the sand on the floor, which assumed a form of a hand to collect the Drop.
Then, from the wall came a Seed, and Torian took it.

One of the statues moved.

Soon, the sand became a series of spirits, and they said a thankful sentence softly.

- Thanks for freeing our people from hunger.

Suddenly, the two doors opened, and the statue pointed the way out.

- Now, go. (said the spirit).

The next room of this Labyrinth looks like a glass sphere, also with three corridors and three doors. So, Tack goes to the first corridor. Everyone goes, and there's a dead body with an Urn, a statue. Torian used rock language to speak to the statue, and it looked them and uttered an order.

- Take the rubbish with you, and goes back.

Tack and Torian sensed danger, coming from the next room.

- You may help if you want, but this is a problem to the statues of vigilance. (said the statue).

Báech was able to collect the dead man's spirit. Lena took the body. Flausin took the Urn. They went back to the room they just got off.
They followed a new pattern, 3112, to get Out of the Labyrinth, and came to a squared room with two doors and an interspace with pillars.

- Nine pillars... (said Torian).
- It's that door. (said Hadesh, firmly).

Minutes later, Tack and Torian agreed with Hadesh, and they went for the left door. The room was an entire opened space, with three stairs down.
Torian said the way was the first stair, and so they got to the Labyrinth first corridor, the same they got inside.

Asking for some help from his Ring, it said the Labyrinth is based in oposition.

Remembering the ancient language word for "Open", Torian turned to the back wall in the oposite direction from the way out, and said it.

- "Open".

The spirit who operates the maps appears, and make a reverence with his hand in the chest.

-Yes! (cried Torian).

So, Hadesh and his new friend Bogbog entered the Magic Bag, because they were said nothing divine could come out of the Laryrinth, and it was planned since the beginning.

They got out of the Labyrinth.

(The Way Back)

The group listen to drums when they get outside, and with magic language activated, Torian translate that the drums are saying the Mountain is active.
Torian's Ring says they need to take a look at the Tower, up the mountains.

The group discussed what to do, and then Torian planted the Seed on the dead Mountain, creating water to make it grow.

Going back to the Teleport place, they see an army coming. Fire is seen at the Temples, there where the monkeys live, and it was clear that a combat were to come.

At the last moment, they could make the Teleport in time.

(At the Temple of Ivory)

The Sacerdot of Dream receptioned the group, and took them to the Lake, inside the Temple. They opened the Bag, and Hadesh went out with Bogbog on his back.

Soon, the Dreammaker came out of the Lake.

- Greetings, Bog. How long. So, you were at that Labyrinth, then? (said the Dreammaker).
- Bog. (said him).
- I'll open the Urn now. (said Senhor dos Sonhos).

Everyone assumed combat positions.

And, it was the right Urn, explained the Dreammaker.

The Raja's heir is safe.

Lena, Flausin and Hadesh then were studying the dead body, and looting it. Flausin and Lena took the stange map, and the dagger.

- Let's eat, - said the Dreammaker - Now, you'll have one more night of dreams at my Temple, and your family's invited again, Professor.

(End of Mission)

They had dreams with the Labyrinth, and someone who was laughing at them.

Waking up, Tack and his family saw Flausin, Báech and Lena considering to build a Tavern, out of the Map. They discovered this is a Map to the taverns the Guild of Thieves uses as their bases, to get information in roads used by pilgrims.

Torian came.

He discussed that the missions are too expensive, 2.000 gold for each teleport is too much.

- I'm not used to your missions, (said Adria), and specially to confront Basilisks and beasts. Before we can continue, I wished to say something to you. I'm from other plane, and my race, the Ichi, live at the Astral planes. There, my Clan disagreed with the others. So, we went to live at the White, the Source plane, and that's the reason our skin is like this. White. We are at war against the other members of our race, who are in fact world invaders, who could prossibly invade the Trigemei Worlds. We know the plane will suffer changes, that will probably make our life there impossible. I'm on the world to save my race. To find a new place to our people to live. If you can help me with this, I will help you in every mission you have.

Everyone agreed.

Torian decides to go back to the Troll Philosopher to investigate the attack of the Basilisk, and the Dreammaker agrees that Priatel ruledom needs help, so he will speak to everyone who may be able to help to mantain contact, with him and the mage.

They resumed things, talking.

It was clear that the Nine Realms use a strange Magic, that includes hipnosis. The last Mummi King was defeated using strange Magic. Probably the same kind used in Nine Realms. A Magic that mix Darkness and Order.

The Monotheists will be the weaker part of this War. They'll possibly try to get stronger, as soon as possible.

They probably didn't stole the Dreams.

Trisebus, that appeared on that Swamp, is not the one, too.

Chaos was interested in the group, so she's probably not the right one, too. And the Order is more interested,

possibly, in the Nine Realms, because they follow her rules. So, the fake Silver Dragon's not the one, neither. The Realms of Ayaname, since Ayasta-Rei's helping the group, is not the one who stole the Dreams, also, but they can't give the word for everyone.

That dead race who created the Labyrinth is still influencing the World, but they were locked at that same Labyrinth, and Bog said they'll possibly get out, but they were not the one who's stealing Dreams.

That Temples, besides the mountains, shows in it's position an astronomic event that will happen in two years.

The event in the Raja's heir life will happen before these two years, or the Urn were not to be hidden in the Labyrinth.

So, the Mummi King and the dark elves are the essencial suspects, here. They discuss this all with the Dreammaker, and he admire their efforts in help with the solution.

Torian asks to his Ring what he can do, and it explains he's the Ring of Life, and also that not even he in itself can predict what can happen with Torian having planted that Seed on the Mountains. It prolongs the life of it's user, and can make the user live indefinitely.

Everyone discuss it, and now the priority is finding the Ambar Rings of Power, while they can't do anything more about the Stole Dreams.

Ayasta's Ring explains.

There are five Rings of Ambar. First and Second, Major Rings, the Rings of Time and Magic. The others, Minor Rings, of Life, Intelligence and Death.

Tack questions if they were used sometime together. Yes, at the Great War, by the Saint Group, that were Balder's group.

The Dreammaker calls the Sacerdot, and explains they will receive a gift from him. A gift that took six months to make. A pendant made of Vala, the planar silver, which will keep them in contact with him from now on. Well, but Torian's family protections will take sometime to create, and they'll be created as soon as possible.

The talk ends, and Tack's family goes back home, while everyone else goes to Torian's Castle.

(At Priatelka Ruledom)

Torian gives 500 gold to Lena, Flausin and Becci to start the construction of the Tavern, at this point to chose the place where it will be.

Now, Torian and Tack decided to go to the Troll Philosopher.

Torian used Lighning ward on Tack, and teleported lightning to the entrance of the Troll Valley.

Soon, the fire started, and they get there.

- Helo. (said the Troll).
- Helo, Troll. We need to investigate the Basilisk attack, here. (said Torian).
- Be welcome.

So, Tack went to the place it was possibly invoked.

Asking about the Basilisk, the Troll explains that the Guardian Soul spell would provide a first impact attack, because it would create an artificial soul that would take the first spell a Basilisk casts, the spell called "Die" in snake language.
The Basilisk brain is the most hard part of the body, more than his head, explains his Ring.

Every Basilisk, explain the Troll, has something of value he protects, and it can be anything, a territory, darkness, someone, a book, an item, and if you deatroy this thing the Basilisk may lose much of it's magic, maybe 50%.

So, Torian goes to the cavern where the elemental Fire lives, together with salamanders, on the other side of the valley, to ask if the elemental saw anything. He says he listened to three words, that sounded like the magic spells of Dispel, Teleport and Compel.
Torian was invited to see the Salamanders, and after that he went to see Tack.

He asks to his Ring if there's some medicinal use for something the Salamanders have, and the Ring explains that when someone becomes too old, it happens sometimes that this person starts to forget things, and the presence of a Salamander at the fire would cure that.

- So, you're interested in medicine? (asked the Ring).
- Not exactly, because it was Hadesh's interest in the Slamanders which made me ask. Thank you. (Torian answered).
- You're an excelent alchemist, and my knowledge in medicine may help you.
- Not necessary, thank you - said Torian.

Investigating, Tack discovered that the area were not being affected by the magical thin Rain that protects the Priatel ruledom, because the area is magical.

There are old symbols on the rocks, and it's probably a Prison.

Actually, it's more like a Tomb. There is the same symbol they saw at the East Labyrinth, when they took the wrong way and had to go back, there where they saw the opened Egg, so Torian look at the sinister Tomb said the word "Open".

Suddenly, the Essence of Death appeared. She negates the effect, and explain that they can't speak that language, because it's forbidden.
That area is forbidden, also, she explains.

Who invoked the Basilisk here used the area energy. There's a divine magic in this place, for it not to be discovered. The symbols were used a long time ago, by a group of Gods, who used the symbols to mark places that were important to these Gods. This group of Gods are not active, anymore, after the death of Pan. Only that Gods know what these symbols were used to, and what's inside the Tomb.

So, they went back to Torian's Castle.

The butler appears and say someone is on the front Entrance, waiting for him. It's a Djine, dressed with djine clothes and a turban.

- I came in the name of the Raja, to give a small greeting from the Family. The Raja is happy, because you did what no djine could. You could locate the Heir's Will, so here is a small endearment from the Raja.

He took 9 big bags out of nothing, and continued.

- It's 100 thausand gold pieces, in different types of coins. Please, accept this as the Raja's thank you.
- We have a friend who's a djine, and he said to us the djines can't do many things, because they're taboos.
- Ah. That's wonderful, - said the djine - At least, one djine is respecting the taboos. I'll say that to the Raja, and he'll be much happy. Now, I have to go. Thank you, again.

He went to the entrance door, and soon vanished.

Torian sent a message to the goblin, to say they have the money to the Tavern. So, Torian went to his cousin Rudyn's Mansion. There he asked how he could confront the Basilisk attacks, and Rude said the barrier was made with Sand and Sound elements, and Secret essence energy.

Torian came home with lightning teleport, because he sensed his books being copied.

It was Hadesh. Torian censured him, and explained he can't copy. They start to talk about the items, the items the butler artificer's studying, and they're enough to arm the group, as soon as they'd be catalogued. Bogbog explains Torian's family's language is descendent of his people's language, from five thousand years ago, so he is somewhat feeling home.

(The Master Elementalist)

Torian goes with Hadesh to where there's an Ancient Elemental of Sound. Hadesh will be the Witness. Being there, he challenge the elemental. The elemental is enourmous, and starts the ritualistic combat with Torian, who wants to become a Master Elementalist.

It's an intense, but short fight.

Soon, rocks were broken everywhere, and Torian was sensing sounds as he was never able to listen.

The elemental conjured the image of a Basilisk, and the first magic, Torian knew, would be the Die spell, because the elemental Sound possibly know this spell.

Torian invented a Sound spell, to confront the snake language spell.

It worked.

Then, he understant the elemental is using his own mind against himself, and change the tatics. He locked the elemental at a trap.

It worked.

Then, the elemental surrended, and Torian became Sound Master Elementalist.

He fainted.

Hadesh said thanks to the elemental, and took Torian with him, carrying him back through Priatel's roads. Soon, a few wanderers were following Hadesh.

- Who's him?
- It's a Priatel, isn't it?
- We'll walk with you, to grant you safeguard to his Castle.

So, Hadesh walked.

Hour later, he stoped at Torian's guard, and the guards took Torian Priatel to his Castle. Hadesh decided to meditate. Every wanderer imitated him, for some hours. He was happy. When Hadesh got out of his trance, they were gone.

When Torian opened his eyes, he was on his bed, and he got up calling a butler.

- Bring Hadesh to me.

Hadesh and Adria went together to talk with Torian.

- Thank you, Hadesh.
- I want to train you soldiers, - said Adria - If you accept, bring five soldiers with no powers to me, and they will be trained.
- Right. (answered Torian).

Then, Torian took Hadesh to the Vault.

There, he shows his best book, a Tome, to Hadesh. The book opens, and teach Hadesh a type of magical armour, in snake language. The book starts to smoke. That ended, Torian close the book, and put back in the Vault. Then, Torian explains to Hadesh that he's a Wizard, not a Mage, so he'll need a Witch to teach him.

Torian calls Haratchi Koyuu, the Witch of the Planes.

The legend says there's a Witch, from the old empire islands of Shizuka, which can give you anything you can think or imagine. There's a price for that, so. You'll never know what you have lost. The legend also says it is a thing as valuable as what you want.

She's an old friend of Torian, and the one who gave the Tome to him.

Torian went away, using lightning teleport, to go Rudyn's Mansion, to ask him how he could find an Ancient Elemental of Sands.

Rude answers that at the place he's next going there's probably one.

Hadesh starred the Witch of the Planes.

(End of Session).

Some considerations necessary.

Will Torian be able to Master these elements? If they're right, so the new Mummi King is stealing the Dreams. Is it right? What are his goals in doing this? What happens to Hadesh, now he's in front of an Old and powerful Witch, the Witch of the Planes?

The East Labyrinth (1)

Hi, and Welcome Back.

This is my Adventure Blog, and now we're going to the Far East, another continent. These were two Sessions of Play. I'll keep things simple, here, the most I can. You'll understand why, reading the text about the Mission. The Far East is another continent, but this time we're not going to tell much about the place, what will be done in the future.

I lost track of the time, again, but the Story's all here.

So, Be welcome to read it.

(The East Labyrinth)

They ready to go to the mission, and the Dreammaker explains what the mission is, but there were to be some extra careful acts from the group at this one.

- No God or Entity can enter this Labyrinth, so take care not to invoke anyone. (said him).

The east continent is wide from north-south direction. They'd go to Oriental Castas, a place where everyone is ordered into social castes. Rigid social structures. The area was affected by imense tidal waves back at the Great War about 607 years before, when the Megalich came from the sky inside a meteor prision, which ended falling and giving formation to the Hammer, the northeast end of the Old Continent.

They passed the Portal.

There were imense mountains, and they walked two hour until see what the Senhor dos Sonhos said.

Temples.

As he asked the group to see the Temples from the air, Hadesh and Flausin decide to go. They see three great Temples, with small Temples around. Too much a forest, and monkeys that live there. The entrance of the Labyrinth were divine magic proof. Probably, teleport won't work, too.

The antidivine shield extends itself for 108 measures from the Doors, which are curiously opened, but no living thing comes closer to it.

They entered.

So, the door closed behind them.

They're locked there.

At the first steps, the ground begin to move up and down. Squares. They started to think, and that appeared to be a puzzle.
Right then, Ayasta said "Open", and vanished. Everyone went to the same square, and said the same word.

They're into a room, and listen to the gears stop moving on the entrance corridor. There are big statues on both sides, but the the fifth on the left is another corridor. Three steps, down to the ground, and a rectangle on the wall, with drawings.

Then, Hadesh tried to teleport to the other side, and completely vanished.

- Great! (said Torian). All we needed, now. One missing.

On the wall, they started to interpret the drawings, and it shows a race of dogheaded people. Probably slaves, but that was kind of religious.

- You have to offer something, and they bring you to the other side. (said Tack).
- Easy like that? (asked the princess).
- How many things we have to offer? (answered Torian). It's not "easy like that". We're locked here.

They see a cloud of sand, like a spirit or something.

- Ah, yes. (Said Torian). If you touch the ground, that thing will eat you.
- Hum... that's quite correct, according to the drawings. (this Tack's comment let the princess worried enough, now).

They did, and got to the other side. Invisible arms came with a litter to carry them.

- Just remember. We can't teleport. (said Torian).

(Somewhere, down there)

Voooshhhhh....

Hadesh appeared into a room, a vast room with no walls.

He tried to fly. Right. Fly works. But then, the entire ground started to open, into fissures. There's lava down there.
Minutes later, he thought flying is no good. It's only getting him tired. If something else happen, he'd be tired enough not to be ready to confront it. So, he started to think he must get together with the others, because all the food is with him, inside the magical Bag.

He then landed.

Passing to the other geometric ground structure, it all started to move, and changed to another composition, so all the ground is different.

One hour later, he tought of eating something.

When he did got some food off the Bag, he started to listen to a noise. He sees it only with his draconic licanthrope abilities. Starting to fly, the invisible "thing" came, and he had an idea, that could or could not work. He's got food, so he'll try to give off some.
The "thing" eated. Devoured the peace of bread he landed. It was invisible. The takkar didn't listened to any other sound the creature was doing, so he concluded it is a kind of daemon, maybe one of those daemons who tried to come to Toj during the Great War.

It only doesn't seems to be strong enough to kill him, but at this moment he listened to the "thing" making a sound like a tuba.

- Ttoooooooooooooooooooohh.....

The sound was so loud he thought every other "thing" in there must have listened.

- Tttooooooohh...

The answer. With his draconic lycan abilities, he understood that it was saying "Food".

He gave some food to the creature. It's calling the "others". So, Hadesh had an idea. He suddenly draws his Wand, because the only Magic he is good at doing it is the Magic area of Detection, and so he'd try it.
There's a Spell called Tell Direction that always point North.

It pointed diagonally to somewhere.

- Yes!

There's only one direction, and so he starts to fly in that direction.

(The Next Room)

Into this room, and all following, they'd had a puzzle to solve, and the danger was always there.

Then, they got to a round room.

- It's different. (said Torian). Nobody moves.

Torian was in charge of number puzzles, while the others each one had one task. The princess has a small bag with nails, and she cuts another one to put on the ground before the door they just passed.

- Right. Six doors. (said Torian).
- Wait. (said Tack).

A small cloud was coming. Tack conjured Tongue over himself.
It speaks the same language as the Word of Power he remember from the Prision they went to, at goblins territory.

It's clearly the language of Death.

- It (something) energy? (said the cloud).
- Flausin, do you have Echtoconduit in your bag of components? (asked Torian).
- Yes, but...
- Give it to Tack.

Soon, they handed the universal component to the cloudlike sand being, and it started to resembles a humanoid, transforming while eating.

- ..more... (Tack listened, and translated).
- I just have one more, and this is a rare component... (started Flausin).
- Just give it to him. (said Torian).

Done. Now, it took a human shape form, and started to go to the center of the room. It's somehow a Bay. They asked what is the Labirynth logic to the spirit.

- 2.. 1... 2.. 3.

They now have something to do, but...

- 3.. 2... 1.. 2.

- Why there's two different sets of numbers? (asked Torian).
- Way in.. way out...
- Can you show us where's the last Urn that entered the Labyrinth? (asked Ayasta and Torian).

The spirit moved his right hand.

An image of the Labirynth appeared, but it was not magical. Soon, he was searching for the Urn. First room, nothing. Second room, nothing. Third room, he stoped and went back to the last corridor.

An image of a layed body and a statue appeared.

- It's.. here. Must... enter. Second-first corridor.. enter... (said the spirit).
- Wonderful. Let's go. (said Torian).

Ayasta looked back when they were passing through the next door, but she understood what the spirit was saying.

- Master Nothing,.. please... come to me.

She avoided looking, and so they had now a way to go through the Labirynth.

(Back down there)

Hadesh was being followed by a sea of invisible (maybe) demons, and hours later he saw something on the horizon, tired, but still flying. It came to be an end to the room. The end proved to be the center of the Labirynth, probably, with a Lava Fall of three kilometers.

In the center, there is an imense Red Ball, of maybe a kilometer in diameter.

Hadesh headed to the Ball, but he sensed it was some kind of a Prision with draconic perception, so he decides not to touch it in any ways.
He started to go upwards, drained by some force, and let it go.

He accelerated so much, he only survived because of his ability to regenerate,...
... and came out of there.

Still flying, he saw a series of caves, and the only thing alive is a small creature on the side of the hole he just came from.
He goes to this creature, and it's like a different kind of goblin.

- You found the way? Good. (said him).

Hadesh sees an enormous number of tubes and engines, in these imense caves. He decided to talk to the little creature.

- Who are you? (asked Hadesh).

The little creature rised his voice, but there was fear in his voice.

- I am Bogbog, the Master of Beasts, Monsters and Creatures, (down to normal speach) but of course you don't know me anymore...

Hadesh landed on his side, to talk with him.

- How do we get off of here?
- There's no way out. (Bogbog answered).

Bog (for short, he explains) is locked here for maybe five thousand years, with the only company of a creature he created. His last follower. He pointed an imense construct made of some kind of web. There's no way into or out of the Labyrinth from here. Hadesh made a bet with him, whatever they get out off of this prision, and he accepted. Now, they see an imense creature to get off the strange web construct. A gigantic spider, three hundred meters wide.

- She sensed move. Take care. She doesn't attacks me, but will attack you if she sees you.
- What's happening?
- Someone is moving to the wrong place, here.
- My group (!)...
- She'll eat your friends. Bog. Let's see it happening? I can't fly, anymore, because I lost all my powers long ago.

Could you...

Hadesh put the old little Bog on his back, and started to follow the spider.

(At the Labirynth)

They're locked in a room where you can walk on the walls, and at two thirds of the way there's a Story.

All people are hungry, because plants are dying. Then, a man had a dream. He entered the mountains, and talked to a Black thing inside. When he awakens, he talk to the people and all them decides to believe. They make a way down from the top of these mountains, and then It gives a seed to the people. They put the seed on the ground outside, and plants start to grow everywhere.

The group decided to offer the last Echtoconduit they have, to see if a seed comes.

It did.

The wall opened, to receive the element, and soon the roof opened to give them the same seed they see on the pictures.

That's it.

So, they walk to the next room. While going, suddenly Ayasta is hited by something viscous, but cut that right away.

- What's happening? (asked Torian).
- Something from outside hited me with a weblike viscous thing.

It came again, to hit the princess, but they all cuted the web as soon as it hited her from the same side (right), but how to fight what they can't hit?
Ayasta said she would enter Attune state to see what's happening outside.

They're prepared to combat.

Ayasta came back from Attune and resumed.

- It's a giant spider, about three hundred meters wide.
- The only way we have is to break this walls to fight her in equal conditions. (said Torian). Everybody attacks the wall here, at the same time. (asked Torian).

All prepared, Ayasta sit down to meditate. They all hit the wall at the same time, and destroy a small side part of the corridor. Ayasta creates her image as an avatar, with six arms, and five meters high. They are attacked again with the web, but the avatar attacks the web, and releases the djine. The situation is no good, and their only chance is to give their very best attacks at the same point.

- Everyone hit the front legs at the same time. (screammed Torian).

Tack decided to use a Spell he never used, Desintegrate. The djine were ready to use the sword to cut any web.

- Now! (cried Torian).

They all attacked the front legs, at the same time.

Tack's spell hited. Adria's lightnings hited. The djine cuted the web which hited Adria. Torian's light shuriken spell hited.
So, the spider retreated, and a black cloud of a black substance started to come from the creature.

They see Hadesh coming at full speed.

The princess did it. She was all the time trying to open the door to the next corridor. The door opened for them to pass.

- Ruuun!! (screamed Hadesh, coming).

Ayasta sees he wouldn't do it, and used the avatar to impulse Hadesh (as to throw him to the corridor), and the avatar desapeared.
So, she push Hadesh through the opened door, and passed.

The door closes.

It was another round room, where they are now.

Boooomm!!! Boommmmm!!

- It's the other... (said Bog in a sad voice) It'll eat her (sadly).
- What other? (asked Hadesh) You said nothing about "other"...
- It's a bigger one.. creature... (still sad).

Everyone look to Bog, and Hadesh started to explain what happened down there.

- Right. It's safe, in here. Let's sleep, and continue tomorrow. (said Torian).

They did a bit of search on the room. Six doors. Six corridors. A christal on the middle of the room. Basically, they dicide to take turns to sleep. The Dreammaker said they had only one week to complete the task. Now, it really make sense.
Adria said she'll take the turns, because her race doesn't need to sleep, only meditate.

Even then, everyone will take turns, as everyone's decision.

(End of Session)

Some questions necessary.

Who constructed this Labyrinth? It's not magical, and there's not magic anywhere, so what is it? Who are these spirits, sandlike spirits? Who's Bog? It's a Labyrinth, and basically one is only made for two things, a city, or a prision. Is it a prision? What for? What is the imense Red Ball down there? All the statues show a dogheaded people, so is this a race that doesn't exists anymore? Who are them? Why nothing divine works? Hadesh has a divine bless, so will he loose it when they come to get out of there, or will he be able to get out? Now, the problem is also this Bog creature, beucase they don't know who he is, but he's obviously weird; is he a God? How long will it takes to get the Urn, and get out?

The Troll Philosopher

Alloi (Helo), and Be welcome again.

This is the first update, from about nine adventure sessions of play. They'll be all here, going through this First Chapter until the end of the First Chapter, and I'll introduce new factors necessary to understand the Second Chapter. It runned during two months of Play. Some Players were off, for work and life reasons. So, I decided to tell the Story from the viewpoint of the Players present.

New Characters

Spike, warknight (construct), wizard
Adria, ichi (race from the Source plane), psionic

(The Troll Philosopher)

Spike, after being created at the Forge, studied to be a wizard. Wizards are rare amongst the warknights. So, after his training, he decided to walk the World of Toj, and then he became a wanderer.

He's walking now at a very beautiful realm, one of the most in the world.

It is called Priatel.

He decides to take a walk, but there's a woman in cloack who's following him. No problem, 'cause she's a wanderer too.

Adria is on the world to save her own race.

At the moment she saw this wanderer, covered with a cloack as she, no wonder she decided to investigate. And now, wanderers stoped at a clean place, and she was asked to go to gather wood with this strange.

They walk together to a side forest, and stoped when they saw the creature.

An imense mantis (louva-deus), was on the place they went to gather wood, starring them. It was saddled (selado). Soon, his master came. A two-times imense Troll.

- Helo (said the Troll). They're not food, Greet (said him to the mantis). I'm here to get water. Do you want a drink?

They said nothing.

- Well, you're invited, if you want.

So, they went with the Troll, to eat and drink. Soon, the silent Mantis came with a dead cow, took the meat off with amazing destructive dexterity and went off to the cliff to eat the bones.

(Pause)

Hadesh, now a masterless wizard, is now waiting for Torian's (Daytel) cousin to came back with an answer.

He asked him to be his master.

This Daytel's cousin's specialist in Void, so he's somewhat mentally disturbed. That's perfectly normal, with someone who wonder Void magic, because Void is one of the most dangerous element ever. His name is Rude. Rudyn Drazci, the Void elementalist.

Hadesh sees Rude coming on the road from the lake southeast Torian's small castle.

- Come with me. (said Rude).

Four hours later, they came to a passage. A passage to a valley. Rude stopped, waiting.

- What? (asked Hadesh).
- We're waiting for permission.

Hadesh decided not to ask. Soon, a fire incendiates at the side of the valley, and Rude started to walk. He followed.

- Food, and drink, my friend (said the Troll, when Rude came). Come on, with your friend, too.

Rude stopped, but went to seat at a side. Hadesh wans't so much confortable, but the five meters high Troll started to introduce everyone.

Adria, Spike, but not Rude.

They talked for most than an hour, so, but no one was being so friendly. Then, the Troll started a game. Who guess right someone's enigma, would have a garanteed answer, somehow, from the one who made the enigma.

Then, one hour later, they knew more about each other.

Adria sensed danger.

- Something is coming. (said she).

Silence.

- It's a big snake, coming alongside that direction (right), but I can't say more than that. (said Adria).
- It's a Basilisk (said Hadesh).

Hadesh started to prepare, in doubt about he being able to transform here.

- Do a barrier, mage (said the Troll to Rude), and this is too much for you to confront. I'll ask you all to think strongly on your holy Gods. (Pause) Do it.

Everyone started to focus their Gods into their minds.

- Gods! Listen to your people. They're not ready to confront this Beast. I ask you wise, to interfere. (said the Troll).

They all listened to snakelanguage black magic. More than thirty, at the same time. Soon, the basilisk was gone, but maybe about thirty shadows appeared, from where it was, getting high to attack.

Hadesh prepared to fly, and went outside the barrier.

The shadows attacked.

Adria transofrmed into a Flying Hunter, a creature from the plane of Source, and attacked with her bow. Her attackes were lightnings.

The shadows attacked the barrier, but Hadesh now decided to go outside. He knew Rude woudn't hold for long the barrier. It all happened quickly, all that attacks and counterattacks, but on the last attack, Hadesh got off the way and the shadows decided to attack him, not the barrier.

Adria killed the last one.

Grey ended the barrier, and they're all together, safe and sound.

Hadesh turned back to normal.

- They were after me. (said Hadesh to Rude).

The Troll asked everyone to be calm, and so he started to speak to Rude.

- I understand why you asked me to teach him, Rude. He's fast, but power is nothing without control, is it that? (asked the Troll to Rude).
- You're the only one, Troll Philosopher (answered Rude).
- Ok. (He turned to Hadesh) I'll teach you. (to the others) Please, wait here.

The Troll came back from the Cave with a book.

- You'll read this, through the next weeks, and come back when you'd done that. Do you understand, Hadesh?
- I'll do it (was the answer).

Then, Rude had invited Adria and Spike to his Mansion, so everyone say goodbye to the Troll, who starred to the valley, in a very deep expression of concern.

Hadesh went back to Torian's Caslte, while Adria and Spike went to Rudyn's Mansion.

(Pause)

Spike passed the night studying old books about the Wastes (the barbarian lands and goblin territories).

At dawn, he noticed Rudyn was attacked.

(Pause)

Hadesh started to study his new book, at the Torian Castle's dungeon.

He remember the last wrong Spell he made here, and don't want to make a mistake again. At that time, even a strange effect occurred. A small spark came from the same place the Spell hadn't work. Of course, he has put the spark on a bottle.

Late that night, suddenly, a man was in front of Hadesh, looking at him, and Hadesh stopped, ready to do anything.

- I'm here to tell you something (said the man).
- What?

The man starred Hadesh.

- When you consider yourself ready to be all you can be, you look for me. I'll know you're ready.
- Who're you?
- Ah. You don't need to know my name. Just this.

The man started to hold his left hand, and to take off the flesh from the bones, and when he let his flesh free it came back to the hand. Hadesh also noticed that the man's right hand was made of Vala, the planar substance, with many magical qualities.

- We have an enemy in common. (said him).

The man vanished the same way he appeared, with no teleport.

(Pause)

Torian, Báech, Christal and Flausin were taking breakfast, when the buttler came with the news. Rude was attacked. They went after Hadesh, at the dungeons.

Getting there, Hadesh was there, and the man was gone.

- Hurry. We need to go and help Rude (said Torian).
- The Lich was here.
- Who?
- The Lich who lost the hand to your Ring, Torian. He was here, now.
- What did he want?
- To say that when I was ready, I was to look after him.
- Huh, we think about that later. We need to help Rude now. (said Torian).

Hadesh decided not to say he wounded the area of the dungeon, with a spell he doesn't know how it works yet.

They went.

(At Rudyn's Mansion)

All Priatels went there, and they decided to send messages to all their allies, Torian included.

Torian sent back to his Castle, and Adria came too.

(At Torian's Castle)

Torian send a stress call to Realms of Ayaname, to the Druid Empire and to the Dwarf Empire, because his Ruledom was attacked.
Ayanima immediately sent an answer.

Torian sent also a magic message to Tack Primus, calling him to his Ruledom. Tack was not able to go through magic teleportation, and started to question why.

(At the same time)

A woman appeared at the teleport room, and Torian was there to welcome her, from the Realms of Ayanima.

She stopped at the teleport and started to talk with Torian.

- What is the problem? (asked the woman).
- My Ruledom was attacked two times. Once by a Basilisk, yesterday, other today by unknown forces.
- What's your name? (asked her).
- Torian Priatel'sa Drazci. And yours?
- Ayasta. I know your family. You're servants of Naraleiva, the Coper Dragon. (said she).
- Yes.
- Ok. I am Ayasta Rei, descendant of Ayanima, but you can't tell it to anyone, or you'll loose my confidence, and any help I can provide.
- I agree. Will you help us?
- Yes.
- There's someone trying to teleport here. Just step from the teleport room, please.

She did it, and Tack appeared there.

(The Meeting)

Tack Primus saw the effect of teleport, and came to Torian's house.

- I'm here. What's happening? (he asked).
- My Ruledom was attacked. Tow times. Rudyn is in some kind of coma, in a mind labyrinth. Ah, yes. This is Ayasta. She'll help us.
- Helo. (he greeted).

They went to the dining room, and met everyone there.

They talked a lot, about what to do, and soon Ayasta was invited to know about everything. Ayasta immediately recognized the princess, Lena Báech, but as everyone was calling her by the name of Christal, it would not help to say anything.

Ayasta summoned a spirit, and the last Duke who died only 15 years before appeared.

- Find everything you can about the Ambar Rings of Power. (asked Ayasta). So, come back to tell me.

He bowed, and was gone. Everyone was impressed, because they knew the Duke's spirit, from paintings in many halls at many castles into Royal Tachiza empire.

They all speak about the Saint called Balder. Ayasta summoned him, too.

- Who attacked him? (asked Ayasta, pointing Hadesh).
- I don't want to know his name. (said Tack).
- Ok. I'll tell only to who wants to know. The Lich is called Ebus, but it wasn't him who attacked. It was Abbramantus, the elite demon.
- Thank you. (said Ayasta).
- I'll have to go, now. So, I meet you at the Temple of Ivory. (said the Saint).

Torian went to his library, and asked to his Tome how to confront a Basilisk, and the answer was with Draka divine magic.

One of the butlers asked Ayasta not to teleport inside the Castle.

- Where are the other Rings? (asked Tack) I was talking about this all the time. Now, you see?
- Ask his Ring where it was hidden. (said Ayasta's Ring to her).
- You (said Ayasta to Torian). You have one of the Rings. (it was not exactly a question).
- How do you know? (asked Torian).
- My Ring said you have one of the Rings of Ambar.
- You have one? (said everyone).

Hadesh explained the visit by the Liych, Adria helped to explain the Basilisk attack, they all talked about the Stole Dreams, and Ayasta decided to help. For her, Senhor dos Sonhos is a neutral Entity. If he decided to do something, it must be to bring balance to the World. They all decided to call the Dreammaker. Soon, they were all starting to prepare to go to the Temple of Ivory.

The Crow came, calling them to the Dream plane.

(At the Temple of Ivory)

They're all talking to the Dreammaker, when another guest came. She was a small girl, walking exactly in lines, with a channel haircut and black hair.

- Yes, Order. What can the Dream make for you? (asked the Dreammaker).
- Give me the Child. (ordered her).

She looked to Hadesh, while asking this.

They all looked to him, until he understood. She wanted a small "spark" that came out of one of his wrong magic attempts, at Daytel's dungeon.

He handed the flask to the girl.

She walked out of the Temple without any more talk, walking on a totally ordered way.

- You'll have to choose, this time. (said the Dreammaker). You know already that only mortal's choices make the difference. There are three Urns to recover, but you'll only have time to recover one of them.

After some talk, and considerations, they choose to save the Raja Tweet's descendant, a girl who will be a future Raja. So, the far east girl who has no powers yet, and the bastard son of a monoteist cardeal would be not saved.

(End of Session)

Some considerations necessary

Who is the enemy in common, that the Liych was talking about?

About what's Missing

It's really difficult to write about an adventure, and I'll explain why.

Dialogs.

When Players roleplay, there's so much information said that a Master can't remember later, so it could be improbable to take notes about everything.
Second, this adventure blog is made to register most of the gameplay, but not the offgame discussion.

This would be impossible.

So, there are parts missing, and I'll put that as flashbacks during the future Story notes, so don't worry about it now. All that may be necessary will be cleared, or noted somehow, in future Posts, then you don't need to worry about what's Missing.

Have fun with your reading.

I decided to write a series of Novels, without a definite End. I also have to share my time with other things like my realistic fictional universe. Being so, I ask you to read what's on this Blog in the hope of the future adaptation for a Novel.

Of course, there will be brand new information into a Novel format.

This is my Mythology for Kalacoktoa. The share is made in the form of a Creative Common format, in which you can use these ideas into a table for storytelling game as you wish, but I need to ask you not to make derivative works with commercial purposes from my Story.

There should be no limits to what a Master could use into a Story, with no commercial purposes, but if you want to publish you should think seriously on original material.

Also, let me know if you quote me anywhere.

I hope you're enjoying your stay, the reading and we have a lot planned by now. Even if some character dies, what's something we deal as a possibility, the Show must go on.
